Youth Mentor (Brotherhood)

To provide a mentoring service delivered by positive male role models to Young Black Men (YBM) aged 10–19 in Sandwell and surrounding areas of the Black Country/Birmingham. The project will support YBM to be at the centre of conversations and action-taking to address racial opportunity disparity and prejudice that is impacting their mental wellbeing. Through mentoring, life coaching and workshops, the project will aim to shift power imbalance, elevate aspirations, improve mental and physical wellbeing and improve each young person’s personal and educational development.

Term: Fixed – 31 months

Head of Service and Operations

To work closely with the senior management team and creative facilitators to oversee the operational coordination of CAN services. To oversee contract compliance, monitor service performance and ensure all services are delivered within agreed expectations. This role will be fundamental to the delivery and dissemination of CAN services.

Salary: £29,162–£35,006 per annum (starting salary commensurable with experience)

Executive Assistant to the CEO

The Executive Assistant to the CEO will play a critical role in our organisation by providing exceptional administrative support and project management to the CEO, to ensure that the CEO’s day-to-day and various extensive special projects/initiatives are propelled internally and externally of the organisation from conceptualisation to completion. The Executive Assistant will work closely with the CEO on all communications and correspondence, to serve as a key liaison to maintain strategic alignment of the CEO to drive organisational growth.

Service Delivery Coordinator (Brotherhood)

To coordinate targeted mentoring and life coaching intervention services for young black males aged 10-18 through both 1-1 and group sessions. The postholder will have a lived experience of black culture/heritage and will collaborate and coordinate with mentors/life coaches/volunteers to deliver sessions with a strong focus on emotional wellbeing and resilience to address past and current challenges they are experiencing when growing up as a young black male in Sandwell/Black Country and surrounding areas of Birmingham.

Sport Coach - 360 Sport

The post holder will be responsible for supporting the delivery of sports activities for children aged 6 to 19 years. This will be a great opportunity for you to engage in our sports projects and gain good experience coaching lots of different sports such as Football, Volleyball, Badminton, Tennis, Boxing and more. We have training available to better your coaching toolbox.
